The LGS Family

Lahore Grammar School (LGS) was established in Lahore, in January of 1979, by a group of woman with a commitment to quality education with the aim of providing a creative alternative to the existing education facilities available in the country. The initial focus of LGS was the promotion of female education. The boys’ branch came into being in 1992.
LGS offers the GCE Ordinary and Advanced Level curricula to both boys and girls.
The school now has several branches in the city of Lahore, as well as Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Wah, Sialkot, Peshawar, Quetta, Karachi and Islamabad. A girls’ college in Lahore offers BA/BSc degree programmes in Art, Science and Computer Sciences.
LGS has also extended its school network to cater the needs of the middle income group. This enterprise is called the Landmark Project. The company also has an educational project, known as the ILM school, to cater to children from the lower income group.
